One of the things I have always enjoyed is on a facebook video game page I am on they will do a random giveaway just for fun and to keep people interested and enjoying the page. So in order to spark some more interest and get things flowing in here I am going to offer a giveaway. Now on the facebook page all you had to do was make a comment to be entered. But I'm going to make y'all work for it just a little more.
1st, you need to comment on this post.
2nd, you need to create a post. It can be about anything.
3rd and finally, you need to comment on at least 2 other posts that others have created.
Lets get the creative juices flowing here people. Can't wait to see what y'all have to say. The giveaway will end on Friday 5/13/16 at 3pm Central Time. Everyone who has met these 3 qualifications will have their name put in a hat and one lucky winner will receive a Tron Property Stamp Disc Free! I will post the lucky winner on this thread so please check back here after the drawing to see if your name was picked. Thanks everyone!
I should stipulate the offer is for US residents only as international shipping is killer, thanks.

I loved TRON! I'm not sure my friends were into it. maybe more than Xanadu, which I saw at the other theater in town back then (both are gone and replace by an 8-screen Reel Theater Cineplex...
The hot dogs are nothing to write about, but I saw Guardians Of The Galaxy there. I couldn't tell much difference between the digital projector and the old film projectors of years earlier but then again I hadn't really seen a movie since TITANIC.
Disney was a few years ahead of the world at that time, and nobody got it until they owned ABC, ESPN and the rights to Marvel Studios so now they are somewhat of a behemoth, the likes of which Ol' Walt never could have dreamed of. _________________ A New Vista of RCA Victor COLOR! |

Thanks Chris, don't forget to make a post and comment on a few others if you want to be in the running for this giveaway.
Steven, I fixed the typo. Thanks for catching that. |

Looks like it made it (without any help from Barry Manilow)!
I looked in there and took all the contents out and nothing looking broken, the box was in great shape, so I'll get it going after dinner tonight! _________________ A New Vista of RCA Victor COLOR! |

I watched the first twenty or so minutes, with some testing of the fast scanning, the disc is in far better shape than a videocassette from then would likely be, the quality was pretty nice! No complaints about the video quality for a home video of that era.
I patched it in from the RCA jacks and coaxial out that feed my stereo and 19" Sony Trinitron from the early 80s. _________________ A New Vista of RCA Victor COLOR! |
