Ok I admit it, I have on occasion gotten different versions of the same book... I do have 2 copies of Star Wars New Hope prior to the movie release and then I got the 1st edition after the movie.
And I may have picked up a Canadian version of Ballantine's Adult Fantasy series and the American one......hmmmm, Possibly the same holds for Shadow, Doc Savage and a few others..... I'm detecting a pattern here Wink

Hey, I know a guy who buys multiple CED Players;) Wink Wink Wink Then, there is another one who collects little Star Trek ships, and has 2 or 3 (or 4) of them, same ship, what is that all about????

You know you are addicted when you have purchased every NTSC and PAL release, you move on to the Japanese variant of CED, the VHD.

and the one about buying your loved one a CED of their favorite movie...I did that....and a player.

LOL Scott, why do I believe that?. We have two mailwomen, they are polar oppisites. One is mean and hateful, the other is sweet and nice. The hateful one just leaves a package at the door like she resents it. You never know if you have received the CED you've been waiting for. The other one rings the doorbell, hand delivers the CED, and brings the rest of our mail. She asked me if I collect "records", I explained all about them, showed her one of my players, Showed her how it works, she was quite impressed.

You spend 30 minutes and run 3 batteries down in your "infra red" remote, trying to get a tiny "skip" out of your third Star Wars disc.

This actually happened back in 1983, not long after I bought my brand new SGT250! Just before Luke and the rebels went to destroy the Death Star, when they were being shown the blueprints of the Star. I can still rememeber what was being said:. "LARGE SCALE ASSULT"

I have another one that all you "newbies" prolly won't understand, (yet). You buy 5 or 6 discs from Ebay, wait paitently for them to arrive, (darn media mail!!!!) Twisted Evil Exclamation When you get them, while watching them, you expect them to "jump" or "skip" at a certian place, the same place your new disc did in 1983!!!!
