15 years ago I picked up a bunch of CED's and a player, but I didn't really think much of the format. I gave the lot away to a Goodwill. About 8 months ago I found a copy of Blade Runner and bought it because I liked the art work. Then I started to think about how much I liked the art work. Since then I have been getting collections when they become available. Now I'm a big fan of CED and I also like to watch them.
Return of the Jedi turns up from time to time, so I'm sure you will find a copy, I have 2 copies. Same thing goes for horror movies, but they tend to be harder to find, at least in Canada. |

Not really. Legend of the Lone Ranger is not available on LD, only CED, of those two disc formats. |

Hey Rixrex,
Are you looking for this title?
I've got a dup of it. I'm watching it right now. Checking quality on it. _________________ The Reason A Dog Has So Many Friends, He Wags His Tail Instead Of His Tongue. |

Since I have been changing from my plastic crates to wooden cabinets, I have run across 10 or more bad discs that have decent caddies. I just found them, I'll go through them and see if anyone has need of them. From what I saw:
1 PRIDE AND PASSION
2.ARIPLANE
3.BLONDIE (Not sure how good)
4.HIGH NOON
I'll get the full list out Monday. _________________ SGT-250

I have well over 10 dozen CEDs and these are the ones I am not interested in...however I haven't been able to screen them as my two players are not working YET.
I need to earn some cash for a stylus at least to view most of them but I'm going to offer these AS IS, dirt cheap and save the rest to get there.
I have a SGT 075 and SJT 090 and if a stylus works for both I'll work from there.
I'll work on the assumption that they do play and if not I'll take work on taking care of you on that and either send a different disc or a duplicate. Will that work?
First of all I have the Playboy 30th Anniversary Playmate Video Magazine, caddy and label look in very good condition for $10 (because they'll fetch that I gather but the rest are cheap)
Sesame Street Follow That Bird! G
Heartbreakers Peter Coyote, Nick Mancuso, Carole Laure, Max Gail... R
Passion Of Love (Passione D'Amore) Original Uncut English Version, Cannes Special Award Winner Vestron 1982 NR
Buddy Buddy Matthau/Lemmon Paula Prentiss, Klaus Kinski R
Caddyshack R
Max Dugan Returns PG
The Incubus Vestron NR
Raise The Titanic
Educating Rita PG
Utilities Robert Hays, Brooke Adams PG
Stephen King's Cat's Eye X2 (will hold c.2 for replacement first) MGM/UA-CBS-FOX PG-13
Brewater's Millions Pyror, Candy PG
PORKY'S CBS-FOX R
"They All Laughed" Aubrey Hepburn, Ben Gazzara, John Ritter, Dorothy Stratten Vestron NR
Risky Business R
Kiss Me Goodbye CAAN Sally Field Jeff Bridges PG
Dog Day Afternoon
Against All Odds
Agency Robert Mitchum Lee Majors Valerie Perrine Vestron NR
The Wild Geese Richard Burton Richard Harris Roger Moore R
Goldy, The Last Of The Golden Bears Vestron (Family, 1984)
The Toy Pryor Gleason PG
Romancing The Stone PG
That's not half of it and we'll see how that goes...
A couple defective discs and caddies $1 each:
Protocol Goldie Hawn says 1-Electro lines 2-skips, caddy OK
Easy Money- Dangerfield EMPTY, end missing, fix or use for art
The rest are $2.50 each, the labels aren't going to be pristine but there are some different titles in there and these are for watching more or less or for the uniqueness (to me at least). Shipping is actual cost and I would appreciate any tips on shipping as I've never shipped any. I got them with the two players and at thrifts (and those from a local auction lot or two). What I really need is a working player so I'm selling a FEW to finance the repairs.
If that's fair enugh email me at asynchronousman at msn com with inquiries and thorough pictures.
I like music related titles, concerts, music videos and a few classics and my LASERDISC collection and a few videotapes reflect it heavily. Once I get it going I can watch and trade more, or course.
My actual name is Steven. _________________ A New Vista of RCA Victor COLOR! |

I'm keen on finding a copy of Zombie. The caddy, with or without disc, but I'd love to find one in a great shape (worth framing).
I have a few dozens common and uncommon CEDs that could be traded, or if you have an extra I'll gladly take it for shipping and a couple bucks.
It's a shame the paper labels on CEDs seem to have been such poor quality. A sealed copy of Zombie would be the bessssst! |

The guy I got the players might have a working copy...see the "Boise Craigslist" thread for the pictures.
NOTE: They'll be away for about two weeks and it you need it it should be there and I will pass it along if you need it. I would expect he'd want to sell the entire 2-disc set.
I don't think I have it. As for whether it's pretty, I don't have the bright eyes, shiny coat and waggily tail I had in 1984 either _________________ A New Vista of RCA Victor COLOR! |

I have the following titles available for trade or sale:
Saturday Night Fever (Mono)
Star Trek II
Star Trek: The Motion Picture
Saturday Night Live Vol. 1
Diamonds are Forever (RCA)
From Russia with Love (RCA)
9 to 5 (My particular disc that I'm looking to part with is a later pressing, as it is a CBS/FOX labeled disc instead of the 20th Century Fox Video labeled one. It's similar to the Star Wars CEDs being from both 20th Century Fox Video and CBS/FOX Video)
I'm looking for Star Trek III, and the TOS Volumes 4, 5, and 6.....and the Star Wars Trilogy. |

Does anybody have a pair of blue spines they'd want to sell or trade?
I have two stereo caddies (Star Trek II & III) that have white spines in the blue caddy and I'm looking to replace them with proper blue spines.
I don't have much to trade, but I do have a halfway decent copy of Mad Max if anybody wants it. It does play, but the latter half of side 2 shows moderate wear. |

I have disc 2 of Star Trek, The Motion Picture for you if you want it. I already have discs 1 and 2 and certainly do not need a second disc 2.

Please be specific with some of the titles you are looking for?
I like music titles but doubt I can help a lot in trades, and you haven't said where you are located, which is important due the costs of shipping.

Here are my current "orphans":
Ben Hur 2
Close Encounters 1
Ghandi 1
Superman 2
For Your Eyes Only 1
Superman II 2
Mary Poppins 2
Scarface 1
The Rose 1
Bird Man of Alcatraz (CBS) 2
White Nights 2
I wouldn't mind finding Close Encounters disc 2, but the others would be available for postage costs or trade. I'm near zip 01701 in Mass. but I also make frequent trips to Nassau County NY, so if you're anywhere near my route we can work something out. |
