I am going to be shipping a CED player.
I have a bunch of the "clips" that came with the units.
How do you reinstall these for safer shipping.
Unable to find anything about this.
Thank you

assuming that you mean for a j/k style player, there is one skinny and one fat shipping lock. they both go in the same way, hold the tab facing you and put the pin vertically up into the player. the holes are below the face plate, you will have to look underneath for them. once the locks are in, rotate them 45 degrees to the right and they should stay locked in place. to remove them, rotate them 45 degrees to the left and pull them down and out. _________________ (2)Sears 274 & 934(80150,10&11350), sft100, sgt250, sjt 090-400, vp550, VDR3000, VP2000 & 4000

Thank you SelectaVision420.
I have over 4000 discs, many sealed,
many working players.
I'm thinking about offering a working player and a group of
5 sealed discs (my choice) . |

Hi
I'm near Johnson City, TN
Many years ago I purchased the stock of a rental business.
There are probably a thousand sealed discs.
I went through the players, and with the help of Tom Howe, got most of the players playing. I usually just had to replace a couple of belts and clean the cartridge.
That was many years, so the belts have probably rotted again. |
