I haven't posted much lately so I tought I'd post something. What is your favorite player? How many players do you own? As for me, most everyone who knows me knows my favorite player is the SGT-250, the first player I ever owned, way back in 1982. My second favorite is the SGT-200, it has the best of both worls, a stereo AND the lever that started it all. So here are the players I own:
SGT-250
SGT-200
SKT-100
SFT-100
So what is your favorite and what do you own? _________________ SGT-250

I am going to answer your questions in reverse order,
First, an inventory of my players:
Hitachi: 3-VIP1000's, VIP2000, VIP201P
RCA: SJT200 SJT400
Sears: 934.54780150 & 934.54810350
Radio Shack: CED-1
Montgomery Ward: GEN10301
An inventory of working players from the above list:
Hitachi: 2-VIP1000's
RCA: SJT200
Sears: 934.54780150 & 934.54810350
Radio Shack: CED-1
You ask which is my favorite player and I would have to answer one of the VIP1000's players. It is setup as my principal player with the Radio Shack CED-1 as my backup player. The VIP1000 has an STA-300 attached to it for stereo sound. The STA-300 works very well by the way.
The CED-1 I bought off an E-bay seller. The seller received the player without a stylus. He inserted his spare stylus and the player worked very well so he advertised it as needing a stylus. Since I had a spare stylus, I bought the player. I tested it and it played very well with one of my styluses so I set it up as my spare player. Now, if I could only find another STA-300 for the CED-1 player.
The Wards player needs to have the internal pulley changed over to a grooved pulley. I have the Toshiba DSA-100 stereo adapter for this player. When (and if) I get this player working, I will be able to play stereo CED's.
That is it for me. I am not including parts players as they do not work at all and I have no intention of fixing any of them. _________________ Sears 934.54780150 & 934.54810350
