I just got the movie THE GREAT ESCAPE today on VHS (1963),I didnt realise it was 2 tapes!!! (I swear we rented that movie from blockbuster in the 90s I think and it was only 1 tape! (It wasnt the original master though as @ the end there was that LETTERBOX crap (This one is a 1980 release (Put on the tape in 1983 by CBS/FOX))))
I think its the first VHS release of it but Im not sure........

My last purchase should HOPEFULLY be here tomorrow(don't know why it takes four days just to cross the state), but I bought the following from a Facebook CED group for $55 total:
-Bobbie Jo and The Outlaw
-Star 80
-Hospital Massacre
-Playboy Video Volume 4(the Stratten Tribute)
-Mad Max
-The Exorcist
-Rolling Thunder
-Search and Destroy
-Angel of H.E.A.T.
-The Warriors
-House on Sorority Row
-Bonus Surprise Rare
So, it's a pretty good haul. Especially since most of these are going for $20 EACH on eBay with Hospital Massacre ALWAYS going for a nice penny.
A lot of my wants are on this list, so that's awesome for me! Also, I've got an SGT-200 on hold to replace my SFT-100 that I'm going to give to my buddy for $40 to get him started on CED's. I just have to pay for that on my next paycheck because Record Store Day is on Saturday and I plan on grabbing a few exclusives. |

Some great oldish ('80s) cartoons. Nelvanamation 1 & Nelvanamation 2! Both in excellent VHS shape.
The movie Rock and Rule is based on a short cartoon The Devil and Daniel Mouse found in this collection, as well as being included on the R and R Bluray release. |

Received a Peter No Tail disc still sealed the other day. Is it a high act of foolishness to watch this? I only have a youtube downloaded copy that is terrible, but I really like this show.
Also just bought an RCA remote for SJT 300/400 _________________ If you always do what you've always done, you're going to get what you've always got.

I took a Realistic player with remote in on trade when I sold my SJT-400, I got a stylus from Josh, and it plays great! When I got the player, the end of the remote was stuck in where you plug it into the player. I worked it off and managed to get it onto the end of the remote. It works on fast forward and reverse. If I keep messing with it, I believe all the functions will work. That is the last thing I bought!!! _________________ SGT-250

Most recent media purchase was Wagons East on LaserDisc. I've always been a fan of John Candy but I'd never seen that one before. Picked it up at a local used computer store.
Earlier this week I ordered some new belts for my RCA SFT-100W CED player so I can actually watch my CED movies. _________________ -RK |

|
|
It's that time again, Time to pull out the horror movies and blow the dust off, and get into the fun time of the year and watch the movies that scared us to death when we were younger. I will NEVER forget, when I was just a little boy, prolly about 6, Dad would put my sister and me to bed early on Saturday nights, with a promise that he would wake us up when Shock Theater came on. Back then a night lasted for ever. We would cuddle up with him and watch come classics. The Wolf Man, Dracula, Frankenstein. just to name a few. I never forget those days. That said, What are your TOP TEN horror titles of all time?? My list changes with time. I added one last year that I never thought would be good, but it was. The Wax Museum. the on that Paris Hylton played in. I was so surprised, but that movie got to me, freaked me out. so, here is my list for now.
1. Halloween
2. Friday the 13th
3. The Wolf Man
4. Frankenstein (CED)
5. The Horror of Dracula
6. Village of the Damned (CED)
7. Halloween 2 (CED)
8. Friday the 13th part 3 (CED)
9. The Fog (CED)
10. The Creature From the Black Lagoon.
So what is yours??? _________________ SGT-250
